Description
The Canon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM combines a portrait-friendly focal length with useful close-up capability. Its 85mm perspective is well suited to people, while the f/2 maximum aperture gives you control over background separation. It can move naturally between portraits and the smaller details of an event, product setup or creative session.
With magnification up to 0.5x, the lens can also capture flowers, accessories and product details without requiring a dedicated full-size macro setup. Optical image stabilisation supports handheld work, and STM autofocus is suitable for stills and video applications. Designed for Canon RF-mount cameras with full-frame coverage, it uses a 67mm filter thread and offers a versatile combination of portrait and close-up uses.
