Description
The Nikon COOLPIX P1100 is built around exceptional zoom reach in a single camera. Its integrated 125x optical zoom covers a 24-3000mm equivalent range, giving you flexibility to photograph wider scenes and then frame very distant subjects. It is particularly relevant to birdwatching, wildlife, moon photography and other situations where moving closer is not practical.
A 16MP 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor, 4K UHD video up to 30p, an electronic viewfinder and a vari-angle LCD provide options for stills and video. The lens has a variable maximum aperture, from f/2.8 at wide angle to f/8 at the telephoto end. Careful technique and suitable support are especially useful at extreme focal lengths, where small movements can have a noticeable effect on framing.
